NeinOhNein KICK v1.0 PCB
A faithful replica of the classic 909 kick drum can now be built at home as a module for your synthesizer!
Now you can build a 909 kick drum for your modular synthesizer!
NOTE: This module runs natively at +/-15V. I am in the process of converting component values so it will work accurately at +/-12V as well. It still sounds great at 12V, but not quite identical to the original 909. The difference is very subtle. If you just want a great sounding kick and do not care about the "authenticity" of it, then build away!
Includes one NeinOhNein KICK circuit board.
This project can be built with parts available at Mouser, OR you can order the rare, original transistors from me as well to build a complete replica of the original design.
Visit the project page for this PCB to see/hear samples and to download project bill of materials and assembly documentation!
You will need a pair of CD4006 ICs for the noise generator. I now offer these for sale to save you some trouble HERE (click).
